Delivery Services
Professional Delivery Across Southeast Texas
Moore Furniture is proud to offer delivery service to a broad area throughout Southeast Texas. Our delivery team handles your furniture with the care and attention it deserves, from our showroom to your front door and into the room of your choice. We know that delivery day is exciting, and our goal is to make the experience smooth, professional, and damage-free.
How Delivery Scheduling Works
Because we serve such a broad area, we deliver on a route-based schedule. This means deliveries are grouped by geographic area on specific days to keep the process efficient and keep delivery fees reasonable for our customers. Once your furniture is ready and your order is paid in full (or financed through one of our approved partners), we will schedule a delivery date based on route availability to your area.
The day before your scheduled delivery, we will contact you with an estimated delivery time within a three-hour window. We understand that your time is valuable, and we do our best to keep that window as tight as possible. While we cannot guarantee an exact time of day due to the nature of route deliveries, we will always communicate proactively so you can plan your day.
What to Expect on Delivery Day
On delivery day, our team will arrive within the estimated window, bring your furniture inside your home, place it in the room you designate, assemble any components that require assembly, and do a walkthrough with you to make sure everything looks right. We want you to inspect your furniture before we leave so that any concerns can be addressed on the spot.
Preparing Your Home for Delivery
To help ensure a smooth delivery, we ask that you take a few simple steps before our team arrives. Measure your doorways, hallways, and stairways in advance to confirm that your new furniture will fit through all access points. Clear a path from your front entrance to the room where your furniture will be placed. Remove breakable items, wall decor, or other obstacles along the delivery route. If you are replacing existing furniture, move old pieces out of the way before our team arrives. Our delivery crew focuses on bringing in the new pieces and is not equipped to move or remove old furniture.
Delivery Fees
Delivery fees are based on your location and the size of your order. Because we serve such a wide geographic area, fees can vary. Your sales associate will provide the exact delivery fee at the time of purchase so there are no surprises. For specific delivery pricing to your area, contact our store at (281) 592-0509.
Delivery Timeframes
For in-stock items, delivery is typically scheduled within a few days of purchase, depending on route availability to your area. Custom and special orders will have a longer lead time based on the manufacturer's production schedule. Your sales associate will give you an estimated delivery window when you place your order, and we will keep you updated if anything changes.
What We Ask of You
We need a responsible adult present at the delivery address to inspect and accept delivery. If you personally cannot be home, please arrange for someone you trust to be present. That person will sign for the delivery on your behalf and will be responsible for inspecting the furniture for any damage or issues before the delivery team leaves. By signing, they authorize acceptance of the delivery.
Prefer to Pick Up?
If you prefer to transport your furniture yourself, you are welcome to pick it up from our showroom location. A minimum deposit is required on all orders, and any remaining balance must be paid in full before pick-up. Please call ahead to confirm your order is ready and bring a vehicle large enough to safely accommodate your furniture. We recommend bringing blankets or padding to protect your furniture during transport. Moore Furniture is not responsible for any damage that occurs after furniture leaves our premises.
